At the tail end of summer 2023, Swim Dem Crew embarked on a journey to Africa’s westmost country, Senegal, to compete in the 34th annual Dakar-Gorée crossing. A swim that pays homage to the victims of Slavery in the region.

They were accompanied by photographer Ash Narod who documented this epic journey. This photozine covers each day in Dakar, and all that it entailed for Swim Dem Crew.
